Dear Partner,
I'm writing to update you on the children's home, where we've witnessed God's blessings often this summer. Our staff is truly excelling, and we invite you to join us in praying for them: Luis, Lucy, Leslie, Maria, Juanita, Flor, Dora, and our on-site advisor and contractor, Arturo. Please also pray that we may diligently and wisely steward this children’s home for the Kingdom of God and His Glory! I ask you to pray according to the Logic of Heaven:

“God did not keep back his own Son, but he gave him for us. If God did this, won't he freely give us everything else?” Romans 8:32 CEV

To support our onsite staff, we've added new appliances: washers, ovens, and stovetops. Considering the over 100 daily meals and piles of clothes, these items are crucial for maintaining our operations. Both previous units were about 12 years old, so it was time for additions, replacements, and repairs. God is so good! One of the ovens was generously purchased for us and installed by Luis Vasquez and David Doran. Our top cooks, Sister Lucia and Lucy, are absolutely thrilled! For the other appliances, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to you, our partners, for your contributions.

Several other major projects have been completed or are nearing completion. The 6-foot front fence/wall, covering 523 linear feet, was finished in July. We are now surrounding the entire 8-acre property with a 6-foot chain-link fence, which will significantly enhance security for the children. Additionally, we have cleared the adjacent 4-acre property, and only some debris burning and final cleanup remain. Here are some examples:

The children are flourishing here at La Casa de Mi Padre. Every day, they experience the love of people who care for them. Our goal, our endgame, our "why," is to see them succeed in life through the power of the Holy Spirit—to do good for "the least of these."

It's always a joy to reiterate this in our newsletters: it is a true privilege to be part of this ministry with you, our partners in Christ. We could not extend His love, both physically and spiritually, without you. Your prayers and monthly financial support are deeply appreciated.
